On Strick and Company’s “The Intersection” podcast, Akin labor & employment litigation partner Jessica Rosenberg discusses her practice, which focuses on high-stakes employment-related disputes such as discrimination, harassment, compensation and tort claims, including fraud, defamation and breach of fiduciary duty. Furthermore, she touches upon her approach to dealing with highly publicized cases and setting out a strategy at the get-go, analyzing how the court of public opinion influences the court of law.

Jessica explains that sometimes the media is used to send a message to the opposing side, comparing it to a sporting event saying, “you are in a fight...that’s what a litigation battle is.”

Discussing a high-profile case, Jessica touches upon her strategy adding, “we created a counter-narrative...I think that played into all the different pressures surrounding the case.”
