Wolf, who served as Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Export Administration, Bureau of Industry and Security, discussed the history and evolution of U.S. export controls toward China in recent years and that policy’s impact on China, as well as the Biden-Harris administration’s October 7 issuance of large-scale restrictions on selling semiconductors and chip-making equipment to China.
