When discussing his reasoning for writing the handbook, Dundas says, “There was no encyclopedia for knowledge management. There was no one place you could go and put yourself in the shoes of someone who was a practicing lawyer who just made a career change and decided to move from practicing into knowledge management.”

The handbook offers a plethora of insights from 46 experts, bridging the gap for legal professionals transitioning into knowledge management roles and providing a comprehensive resource crucial for understanding the complexities of legal tech and knowledge management.

Dundas discusses similar books in the market saying, “Because each of those books is written by one author, they inherently have the limitation of that one author’s perspective and that one author’s ability to generate that kind of volume…I wanted to tell a story that had to be told by a community and couldn't be told by one person.”
