For its article “Visa changes face tougher road in immigration overhaul efforts,” Roll Call quoted Akin Gump senior policy advisor Casey Higgins on the comprehensive immigration bill that President Joe Biden announced upon taking office.
On the topic of business-related visas, Higgins, who, while on Capitol Hill, advised former Speaker Paul Ryan on topics such as immigration and border security, said, “There’s not a lot in the Biden bill, from what we’ve seen so far, that is really seeking to address the business concerns with the legal immigration system.
