Akin Achieves Significant Success for BlueCrest Capital Management (UK) LLP

(London) – Akin has won a significant success on behalf of BlueCrest Capital Management (UK) LLP in its challenge to two statutory notices issued by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
On June 21, 2023, the U.K. Upper Tribunal agreed to strike out the FCA’s case in support of a statutory notice imposing a significant “redress” requirement on BlueCrest, and refused nearly all of the FCA’s application to amend its case.
