(New York) – Akin has advised Francisco Partners, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses, on its growth investment and funding for the combination of legendary sheet music publisher Hal Leonard and Muse Group, an industry leader in music content and creation.

The partnership is expected to create a leading global music learning content platform, with a competitive position in the music creation industry.
