Akin Expands Middle East Disputes Platform with Addition of Shane Jury in Dubai

(Dubai) – Akin announced today that Shane Jury has joined the firm as a partner in its Middle East disputes practice. With the addition of Jury, Akin strengthens its disputes presence in the region, building on multi-billion-dollar wins for its clients over the last 24 months.
Jury’s broad practice spans complex commercial arbitration and litigation, focusing on shareholder, joint-venture, post-mergers & acquisitions (M&A), funds and restructuring & insolvency disputes across a range of industries. He is also known for his work on investigations, civil fraud, global asset tracing and enforcement mandates. Jury has full rights of audience in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts, where he appears as an advocate. He has also regularly sat as an arbitrator.
