Akin Gump Advises Cardinal Midstream in $300M Commitment from EnCap

(Dallas) – Akin Gump has advised Cardinal Midstream Partners, a newly formed independent midstream company based in Dallas, in an initial capital commitment of $300 million from EnCap Flatrock Midstream. A team from Akin Gump advised Cardinal in the transaction.

Pursuant to the transaction, Cardinal will pursue acquisition and development opportunities in prolific basins across North America with a focus on natural gas gathering and processing as well as congruent carbon capture and sequestration.
