(New York) – Merrill Corporation, a global leader in SaaS solutions for M&A, communications and secure business collaboration, today announced it has closed a definitive agreement to sell its Transaction and Regulatory Compliance divisions to Toppan Leefung Pte. Ltd. A team from Akin Gump advised Merrill Corporation in the transaction.

Toppan Leefung Pte. Ltd. is the parent company of Toppan Vintage, a leading international financial printing, communications and technology company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Jeffrey Kochian, a partner in Akin Gump’s corporate practice, led the team advising Merrill Corporation. He was joined by corporate associates Brittany Harrison, Alyssa Pehmoeller and David Ruttenberg.
