(Dubai, United Arab Emirates) – A deal on which Akin Gump advised has been named Export Finance Deal of the Year at the Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Dubai Awards, 2020. The awards recognize the most innovative and ground-breaking deals from sovereign, corporate and financial institution issuers and borrowers from the Middle East.

For this multi-award winning transaction, Akin Gump served as legal advisor to the borrower in Emirates Global Aluminium’s $750 million ECA-backed project finance facility due September 2032.
