(Washington, D.C.) – The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption has again ranked Akin Gump as a Best Adoption-Friendly Workplace. This is the sixth consecutive year that the firm has been so honored. The 100 organizations that comprise the list, in the Foundation’s words, are recognized for “striving to make adoption a supported option for every working parent.”

In addition to its placement on the Top 100, Akin Gump placed fifth for best leave and fifth among companies in the Consulting, Accounting, Legal & Business Services Industry.

This is the latest in a string of 2019 recognitions of Akin Gump’s family-oriented policies. Earlier this year, the firm was ranked as one of the 2019 Top Ten Firms for Family Friendliness by Yale Law Women (learn more here).
