(Houston) – Akin Gump has been ranked among the top five global M&A legal advisors by value in the oil and gas sector for the first three quarters of 2020, according to GlobalData.

GlobalData reports that Akin Gump advised on oil and gas M&A deals totaling $21.3 billion during the nine-month period from January through September. The league tables are based on “the real-time tracking of thousands of company websites, advisory firm websites and other reliable sources available on the secondary domain.”
