Alabama Limits DEI Programs in State Agencies and Universities

Summary

In March 2024, the Alabama legislature enacted 2024 Ala. Act 34, which limits DEI efforts of state agencies, public universities, and public boards of education. State entities may not maintain any office, location, or department that promotes DEI programs.
