HB 3342: West Virginia Prohibits Banks From Discriminating Against the Firearm Industry

Summary

HB 3342 was enacted in April 2025 and prohibits financial institutions (banks, credit unions, cred card system operators) that do business or have a contract with the state from discriminating against a firearm entity or trade association.  The Act defines discrimination as refusal to engage in services, or refraining from or terminating existing business relationship due to the entity's status as a firearm entity or trade association.
