HCR 110: Louisiana Resolution Urges State Pensions to Avoid ESG Investments

Summary

House Concurrent Resolution 110 was adopted by the state House and Senate in June 2023 and requests that the state public retirement systems avoid ESG investing. Instead, the resolution explains system funds should be invested "solely to achieve a return for state employees, teachers, first responders, and law enforcement officers rather than to achieve political or social objectives."
