SB 23-016: Colorado Requires State Pension to Report Climate-Related Investment Risks
Summary
SB 23-016 was enacted in May 2023 and requires the Colorado Public Employees' Retirement Association to report climate-related investment risks as part of its annual stewardship report. This includes a description of "the current or anticipated future risks that climate change poses to the Association's investment portfolio, the impact that climate change has on the Association's investment strategies, and any strategy changes that the Association has implemented in response to such impact."
