  • Represents a wide range of clients in other transactional and corporate governance matters

Amy Wollensack represents private equity and other corporate clients in a wide range of complex transactions including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, recapitalizations, joint ventures, going private transactions, PIPEs, venture capital and growth equity investments and other transactions. Amy also advises on corporate governance matters.

She has extensive experience representing clients in domestic and cross border transactions in a broad spectrum of industry sectors, including health care, life sciences, technology, entertainment, logistics, media, consumer products, food and beverage, franchise, automotive, software, manufacturing, financial services, agriculture, defense and hospitality. As a result, she can anticipate and address industry-unique issues that often arise in the transaction process and structure the transactions efficiently.

In 2021, Amy was recognized as a “Top Women in Dealmaking” by The Deal.

Prior to practicing law, Amy was a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner.

  • ICV Partners, an investment firm, in multiple transactions including:
    • A significant investment in Beacon Global Strategies, a Washington D.C.-based strategic advisory firm specializing in government policy, government procurement, geopolitical and risk analysis, technology policy, supply chain risks, cyber risks and strategic communications.*
    • Acquisition of Mintz Group, a due diligence and investigations firm that helps clients identify, manage and mitigate risks across the globe.*
    • Acquisition of SG360, a leading provider of direct marketing communications.*
    • Acquisition of SirsiDynix, a global leading provider of integrated library services.*
    • Acquisition of OneTouchPoint, an integrated marketing platform provides full brand control, on-demand marketing execution, order management and local digital marketing.*
    • Acquisitions and divestitures of Cargo Airport Services, Integrated Airline Services and Perishable Handling Services, which provide import, export and cargo handling services at airports.*
  • Mill Rock Capital, an independent sponsor, in multiple transactions including:
    • Acquisition of Execu/Search Group, a leading provider of staffing and recruitment solutions across a variety of industries including health care, technology, pharmaceutical and professional services.*
    • Acquisition of DRT Holdings, a leading producer of precision manufactured parts across a variety of industries.*
  • Mubadala Capital, a sovereign investor, in multiple transactions including:
    • Acquisition of TruFood Manufacturing ("TruFood") from AUA Private Equity Partners.
    • Investment in Peterson Farms, and Peterson Farms’ follow on investment in Lakewood Organics.*
    • Investment in K-MAC, the second largest franchisor of Taco Bell in the US.*
    • Investment in Mercer Foods and Thrive Foods, creating a leading provider of freeze-dried products.*
  • AE Industrial Partners, a private equity fund focused on aerospace, defense and government services, in its:
    • $75 million Series B growth equity investment in Firefly Aerospace, which is developing a family of launch and in-space vehicles and services that provide industry-leading affordability, convenience and reliability.*
    • Earlier agreement to acquire a significant stake in Firefly.*
  • Paine Schwartz Partners, a private equity fund focused on sustainable food chain investments, in its investment in Sterilex, a leading developer of innovative food safety antimicrobial products.*
  • Adtalem Global Education Inc. (NYSE: ATGE), an operator of for-profit higher education institutions, in its $1.48 billion acquisition of Walden University, which offers more than 80 degree programs with over 350 specializations and concentrations.*
