Jaz joined Akin Gump in 2015, having previously been an associate in the London office of a leading U.S. law firm and having completed her training contract at a Magic Circle law firm. She was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2014.

- Advised Cairn Capital and Mediobanca in a strategic partnership to acquire Bybrook Capital LLP.
- Advised Fairhold Securitisation Limited in connection the £1 billion restructuring of its distressed securitisation structure.
- Advised Mail.ru Group Limited, a leading Internet and IT company in Russia, on the formation of a joint venture between its ESforce e-sports business and games producer Modern Pick.
- Advised an ad hoc group of senior creditors of Noble, a Singapore listed commodities trader, on the group's new financing and debt for equity swap, involving parallel schemes of arrangement in the United Kingdom and Bermuda.
- Acted for issuers on IPOs and public companies on public takeovers, including a takeover by way of a scheme of arrangement.
