Biography
  • Concentrates on a wide variety of domestic and international debt financing and recapitalization transactions, advising private credit funds, special situation investors and other financial investors.
  • Focuses on representing lenders in direct lending and special situation financings.

John represents private credit funds, special situation investors and other financial investors in connection with domestic and international debt financing and recapitalization transactions in various industries.

During law school, John interned for the Hon. Sean H. Lane in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

Representative Work
  • Represented Vista Credit Partners as agent and lender in connection with a $175 million global recapitalization of Meltwater Group, a media monitoring and business intelligence software as a service company.
  • Represented Vista Credit Partners, as purchaser, agent and warrant holder, in connection with its $150 million senior secured notes and $150 million convertible notes issued by FLYR, a leading provider of management software tools for airlines, travel, and transportation.
  • Represented Francisco Partners Management LLC, a leading global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology businesses, in its $150 million growth financing to ZocDoc, the country's leading digital healthcare marketplace.
  • Represented the ad hoc group of secured term loan lenders of Travelport Worldwide Ltd. in connection with the company’s out-of-court recapitalization.
  • Represented lenders in connection with $150 million of incremental term loans under a priority lien credit facility to Travelport Finance (Luxembourg) S.à r.l.
  • Represented a group of credit funds in connection with a $115 million term loan to ANCILE Solutions Inc.
  • Represented Kennedy Lewis in connection with F45 Training Holdings Inc. in its announced closing of a new $90 million subordinated debt facility provided by a consortium of existing investors, led by Kennedy Lewis.
  • Represented Kennedy Lewis in its takeover of Flywheel Sports.
  • Represented Atlas Credit Partners, as agent and underwriter, in connection with the issuance by LiquiGlide of $35 million senior secured notes wrapped by collateral insurance policy.
