Melqui is an associate in the firm’s corporate practice. He assists public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, securities, corporate governance and general corporate matters. Melqui has experience working with lenders, borrowers and financial investors in direct lending financings and other financing transactions.

Melqui earned his J.D. from University of Michigan Law School, where he served as co-president of the Latinx Law Students Association. He also served as senior editor for the Michigan Law Review.
