Nik is an associate in the firm’s general litigation practice. He assists clients in a variety of litigation matters.

Prior to joining Akin as a full time attorney, Nik was an Akin Pro Bono Scholar and spent his 1L summer interning for the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights. He plays an active role in Akin’s firmwide pro bono efforts by serving on the Houston office pro bono council.

Nik earned his J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where he served as staff editor for the Texas Environmental Law Journal, as well as associate editor for the Texas International Law Journal. He was also a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association.
