Rachel focuses her practice on matters involving domestic and offshore private investment funds, representing fund sponsors, managers, investors and other clients in all aspects of fund formation, operations and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Akin, Rachel was an associate at another global law firm. Previously, she worked as part of the in-house legal and compliance team at a leading investment fund manager focused on structured credit and asset-based investments, and also worked as an associate at JPMorgan Chase.

Rachel earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as a senior staff member of the N.Y. Real Property Law Journal.
