Biography
- Concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and equity capital markets.
Rebecca Carwood assists private equity firms and their portfolio companies in acquisitions and dispositions. She has particular experience advising clients in competitive auction processes.
Rebecca was previously an associate in the London office of a leading U.K. law firm, where her work included mergers and acquisitions and private equity. She was admitted as a solicitor in Scotland in 2015.
Rebecca spent a year studying international law at the University of Oslo in 2011.
Representative Work
- Advised New York Stock Exchange-listed Endava on its acquisition of Comtrade Digital Services (CDS), formerly a division of Comtrade Group B.V., for €60 million.
- Advised AstroBank on the establishment of Trusset Asset Management, a servicing platform for non-performing loans, and the sale of 74.9 percent of Trusset Asset Management to Qualco Group
- Advised a private equity firm on its acquisition of a restaurant group for approximately £250 million.
- Counseled a private equity firm on its acquisition of a group operating premium holiday parks.
- Acted on behalf of a private equity firm and its portfolio company on the bolt-on acquisition of an overseas technology and services company.
