14th Consecutive Perfect Score for Akin Gump’s LGBTQ Policies on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is proud to share that, for the 14th consecutive year, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation has evaluated Akin Gump’s LGBTQ policies in its annual Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and given the firm a perfect score.

The CEI is the premier benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. Its criteria for rating companies are: nondiscrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families, support for an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.
