Several business and legal media outlets have covered the arrival of partners Suedeen Kelly and Chip Cannon and senior counsel Cynthia Marlette to Akin Gump’s energy regulatory practice in Washington, D.C.

The news was covered in the National Law Journal, the Washington Post (“Akin Gump hires top energy regulatory lawyers from Patton Boggs”), Politico (“Akin Gump’s Energy Regulatory Practice Hires Three”), The Hill (“Former FERC member lands at Akin Gump”), Bloomberg and Law360 (“Akin Gump Adds 3 Energy Pros From Patton Boggs In DC”), among other outlets.

All three joined Akin Gump in October, and Ms. Kelly will serve as co-chair of the practice alongside Julia Sullivan. Additional information about the team and their arrival can be found here.
