(San Antonio) – Akin Gump has prevailed in a lawsuit on behalf of 52 Eighty, an Atlanta-based cell tower company. The suit in question sought to prevent 52 Eighty from erecting a tower in Edwards County, Texas, on behalf of T-Mobile, that would offer essential wireless broadband services to an unserved area. The court denied the plaintiff’s request for a temporary injunction.

The Akin Gump team was led by litigation partner Neel Lane and senior counsel Dennis Windscheffel. They were joined by real estate partner Marc Epstein and telecommunications partner Jennifer Richter.

Founded in 1945, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP is a leading international law firm with more than 900 lawyers in offices throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
