Akin Gump Advises Constellis in Proposed Acquisition of OMNIPLEX

(New York) – Constellis, a leading provider of operational support and risk management services, has announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire OMNIPLEX World Services Corporation. In connection with the transaction, Altamont Capital Partners, OMNIPLEX’s current majority owner, will exit its stake in OMNIPLEX. Akin Gump advised Constellis in the matter.
Constellis is the leading provider of risk management, humanitarian, social intelligence, training and operational support services to government and commercial clients throughout the world. The acquisition of OMNIPLEX, a leading provider of protective and investigative services, will significantly enhance Constellis’ service offering.
Terms of the deal, which is expected to close this month, were not disclosed.
The Akin Gump team advising Constellis was led by corporate partners Adam Weinstein and Gerald Brant. It also included corporate counsel Meredith Laitner and corporate associates Boris Kessler and Brittany Harrison.
