Akin Gump Advises Ferrellgas Partners in $837.5 Million Midstream Services Acquisition

(Houston) – Akin Gump advised Ferrellgas Partners, L.P. in a definitive purchase and sale agreement to acquire Bridger Logistics, LLC for a purchase price of approximately $837.5 million, subject to certain closing adjustments.

Ferrellgas Partners and its subsidiaries serve propane customers across the United States and provide midstream services to major energy companies. Bridger Logistics is a provider of integrated crude oil midstream services. The transaction is expected to close by July 1, subject to customary closing conditions.

John Goodgame, a partner in Akin Gump’s oil and gas practice, led the team advising Ferrellgas. He was joined by counsel Andy Lehman and associate Cy Jones, also of the oil and gas practice, and tax partners Thomas Weir and Alison Chen.
