Akin Gump Advises Halyard Capital in Sale of EducationDynamics

(New York) – Private equity firm Halyard Capital announced today that its portfolio company EducationDynamics was sold to an investor group led by Muirlands Capital, KnowledgeShares and Prudential Capital Group. EducationDynamics is one of the market leaders in helping higher education institutions find and enroll the highest quality student prospects.

Halyard, which will continue to be a minority investor in the company, was advised by Akin Gump. David D’Urso, a partner in the firm’s corporate practice, led the team advising on the deal. He was joined by corporate associates John Howell and Charlie Hely.
