Akin Gump Advises Harman International Industries in Bond Offering

(New York) – Akin Gump advised Harman International Industries, Incorporated in an underwritten public offering of $400 million aggregate principal amount of 4.150 percent senior notes due 2025, which closed today. Harman, a leading infotainment, audio and software services company, issued the notes at a price equal to 99.336 percent of the aggregate principal amount.

Rosa Testani, a partner in Akin Gump’s corporate practice, led the team advising Harman. She was joined by counsel Patricia Groot and associate Sarah Withers, also members of the corporate practice. Tax work on the deal was handled by partner Patrick Fenn, who co-heads the tax practice, and senior counsel Christopher Harvey.
