Akin Gump Begins 2017 with Strong League Table Results

(New York) – Akin Gump’s private equity and M&A work at the beginning of 2017 were both ranked very highly, according to different reporting agencies.
For its private equity work, Akin Gump was ranked in the top 10 by Mergermarket in the category of U.S. buyouts and exits and global buyouts and exits, as well as the separate categories of U.S. buyouts and U.S. exits. Bloomberg gave Akin Gump a top 20 ranking for global private equity deals.
The firm was ranked in the top 20 by Thomson Reuters for M&A transactions by deal value, while Mergermarket placed the firm in the top 15 for M&A in the western and southern parts of the United States.
