Akin Gump Named Best Law Firm at Private Equity Wire’s US Awards

(New York) – Akin Gump has been named winner in the Best Law Firm category at the Private Equity Wire U.S. Awards.

According to the publication, the winners, who were announced at a virtual awards networking ceremony, represent “the best in the U.S. private equity industry…covering all the various parts of the private equity ecosystem.” They were selected based on voting by those in the PE industry.

This represents the second recent notable distinction for Akin Gump’s private equity team. Earlier this month, partner Lucas Charleston was selected as among Private Debt Investor’s Rising Stars. (Learn more here.)
