Akin Gump Once Again Named Among Most Innovative Firms by Financial Times
(New York) – In its North America Innovative Lawyers 2014 competition, Financial Times ranked Akin Gump among the most innovative law firms in the industry and also ranked two deals led by its partners as “highly recommended” in the Finance category.
In the first, FT recognized the creation of “a hybrid structure for food company Mars’s agreement to develop the Mesquite Creek Wind Farm and reduce the company’s carbon footprint.” In its description of the engagement, FT noted the work of cross-border transactions partner Tom Trimble in advising Mars on the financing structure.
