(New York) – Akin Gump has been ranked by the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption as one of the top 25 Adoption-Friendly Workplaces in the United States.

In this 11th annual survey, Akin Gump was noted for providing adoption-related benefits to employees that include up to 18 weeks of paid leave. Within the Consulting, Accounting, Legal and Business Services industry, the firm was ranked second.

The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a national nonprofit public charity dedicated exclusively to finding permanent homes for all children waiting in North America’s foster care systems.
