Akin Represents Evolution Well Services in Financing Agreement with Orion Energy Partners

(Houston) – Orion Energy Partners, L.P. announced the closing of a delayed draw, senior secured term loan to Evolution Well Services Holdings, LLC, a provider of leading edge, electric powered pressure pumping. Funds from this facility will support Evolution’s expansion of additional electric powered pressure pumping fleets for some of the largest onshore oil and gas producers, across all major basins in the United States.
A team from Akin Gump represented Evolution Well Services in the agreement. The team was led by oil and gas partner Phyllis Young and included counsel Kate Huggins and associate John McEntire, all resident in the firm’s Houston office, along with tax partner Howard Jacobson and counsel Brandon Morris, both in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office.
