Akin Gump Shortlisted in Two Categories for IFLR Americas Awards

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that it has been shortlisted in two categories for the IFLR Americas Awards. The awards celebrate “the most legally innovative cross-border transactions that closed in 2020” from Canada to Chile.

Akin Gump is a finalist in Deals of the Year in the Restructuring category as one of two firms that worked on the Travelport Worldwide restructuring, as well as a finalist in the Teams of the Year in the Restructuring category.

Winners will be announced on May 20 in a virtual awards ceremony.

Most recently, Akin Gump was recognized among the firms that worked on the restructuring that won Restructuring Deal of the Year at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards (learn more here) and is shortlisted in three categories for the IFLR Awards Europe (learn more here), which will be announced on April 29.
