Connecticut Law Tribune Names Dorothy Foster One of Its New Leaders in the Law

(Hartford, CT) – Dorothy Foster, senior counsel in Akin Gump’s corporate practice in Hartford, has been named one of the Connecticut Law Tribune’s “New Leaders in the Law.”
The list features lawyers under the age of 40 “who have excelled in the courtroom, in client service and cultivation, in service to bar associations and in performing pro bono work or community service in a volunteer capacity.”
Ms. Foster’s practice focuses on domestic and cross-border private placement financings, secured and unsecured debt and equity investments, and the restructuring of financial investments.
Winners were determined through a panel review of submissions sent in from attorneys and firms from across the state. In all, 65 winners from more than 40 different firms and organizations are included in this year’s class of honorees, all of whom will be recognized at the annual Connecticut Legal Awards dinner in Hartford on May 16.
