In an article he wrote for BNA’s Daily Tax Report, Akin Gump tax partner David Burton examines the New York historic tax credit rules.

In the article, “New York Tax Credit Rules Create Opportunities for Investors,” Burton discusses the effect on the rules from new legislation signed in March by Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Burton also gives an overview of the historic tax credit and provides detail on how developers and corporations may benefit from it in the future.
