Human Rights Campaign Awards Akin Gump 12th Consecutive Perfect Score on Corporate Equality Index

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is proud to announce that, for the 12th year in a row, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation has awarded the firm a perfect score on its Corporate Equality Index (CEI).
Because of its perfect score, Akin Gump has again been designated a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The CEI rating criteria evaluate a company’s nondiscrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families, and support for an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility.
