(Dallas, Texas) – Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP announced today that partner J. Kenneth Menges Jr. has been named by a client to the BTI Client Service All-Star Team “for delivering truly outstanding and superior client service.”

In preparing its exclusive client-defined list, Boston-based BTI Consulting Group, a market research, management consulting and executive education firm, surveyed corporate counsel at Fortune 1000 companies throughout the United States regarding their outside law firm relationships.  This year, only 93 attorneys from 73 law firms were named by clients to the All-Star Team.

Michael B. Rynocecer, BTI’s president, stated, “Clients believe that All-Stars are advocates not just in court or in representation, but in marshalling the best resources.  Clients feel that these lawyers are on a mission to understand and anticipate their needs.”

“I am honored to receive the award,” Mr. Menges added.  “Our firm’s guiding principle is providing top-notch client service, and I am very pleased that our efforts in this area have been recognized.”
