The conversation included a look into Borjon’s experience and influence of his mother who was heavily involved in community activism. On this impact he shared, “My mom’s work influenced me all the time, every day, still today.”
Borjon shared how his mother’s influence gave him vision and will to help others. He also noted that helping family and experiencing hardship contributed to his drive to pursue the career he holds today.
