Texas Lawyer Recognizes Alison Chen as Diversity and Inclusion Champion

(Houston) – As part of Texas Lawyer’s 2019 Professional Excellence Awards, Akin Gump tax partner Alison Chen has been recognized as a Diversity and Inclusion Champion.

A D&I Champion is “either a minority who has overcome insurmountable odds to achieve success, or it's a lawyer who's had an outsized influence on inclusivity initiatives to make people of all backgrounds feel welcomed at their firm or organization.” The Professional Excellence Awards recognize “lawyers who have made their mark on the legal profession in the Lone Star State and beyond.”

The honorees will be recognized at an awards reception in Dallas on September 18.
