The Wall Street Journal, in its “Risk & Compliance Journal” blog, spotlighted a recent article written by Akin Gump international trade partner Lars-Erik Hjelm and counsel Casey Richter and corporate partner Samuel Wolff and associate Lauren Wynns.

The article, “Conflict Minerals Update: Court Denies NAM's Motion to Enjoin Enforcement, SEC’s June 2 Deadline Remains In Effect,” was originally posted on Akin Gump’s AG Deal Diary blog. It discusses the recent per curiam order issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit denying the National Association of Manufacturers’ (NAM) motion to stay the SEC’s Conflict Minerals Rule as well as the ruling’s impact on the SEC’s June 2 reporting deadline.
