Geoff Verhoff advises clients on a wide range of public policy and government relations issues.

Prior to joining Akin Gump, Mr. Verhoff spent time on both the policy and political sides of Capitol Hill. He first served as an aide to Sen. William V. Roth, Jr., chairman of the Senate Finance Committee. Following that, he was with the Republican National Committee for the first five years of the Bush Administration, which included the president’s successful reelection campaign.

Since joining Akin Gump, he has worked with clients in the health care, financial services, communications, transportation and defense industries. He also maintains an active role in Republican politics at the federal level.

Mr. Verhoff received his Masters of Public Policy from George Mason University in 2007 and his B.A. from The Catholic University of America in 2003.
