(Washington, D.C.)—Akin advised Nippon Steel Corporation in its monumental merger with United States Steel Corporation, which will unleash unprecedented investments in steelmaking in the United States, protecting and creating more than 100,000 jobs. 

Akin leveraged a cross-practice team harnessing the firm’s depth of experience navigating Washington, D.C.’s most complex policy, litigation and regulatory challenges, to secure this historic win on behalf of Nippon Steel Corporation, including lobbying & public policy, international trade, congressional investigations and more including members below.
