Akin Gump Picked by WomenInc. as a “Top Law Firm for Women”

(Washington, D.C.) – Akin Gump is pleased to announce that WomenInc. has selected Akin Gump as one of its 2019 Top Law Firms for Women.

The list “recognizes law firms for their inclusive, equitable and sincere commitment to advancing opportunities for women.”

WomenInc. notes that it “surveyed leading law firms nationwide with objective criteria for consideration…which included activities such as: hiring and retaining women attorneys, promoting women attorneys into equity partnership ranks, providing leadership positions to women attorneys.”

In 2019, Akin Gump was also recognized, for the second consecutive year, with the Women in Law Empowerment Forum’s Gold Standard Certification for meeting objective criteria concerning the number of women among equity partners, in firm leadership positions and in the ranks of their most highly compensated partners.
