Akin Partner Kerry Berchem Selected for 2023 DirectWomen Board Institute Class
Akin is pleased to share that corporate partner Kerry Berchem has been selected by DirectWomen, an organization that seeks to increase the representation of women lawyers on corporate boards, for its 2023 Board Institute class.
According to DirectWomen, Board Institute participants, identified through a rigorous search and selection process, will “meet with an extraordinary faculty [comprising] CEOs, C-suite and search firm executives, and directors of public companies to discuss key issues facing corporate directors.”
Ms. Berchem co-leads the firm’s ESG and corporate governance and shareholder activism groups and is a recognized thought leader on the topics of corporate governance, ESG investing and board diversity.
