Akin Shortlisted in Two Categories for Am Law Industry Awards

Akin has been selected among the finalists for The American Lawyer’s Industry Awards in two categories: Legal Services Innovation Award and Regional Litigation Department of the Year–Texas.

The Legal Services Innovation Award shortlisting recognizes Akin’s OverRuled, a groundbreaking legal data productivity platform that empowers lawyers and compliance practitioners to access and analyze consolidated data from disparate sources in seconds. OverRuled has been recognized by tech, general and legal media: winning a CIO 100 Award; earning “Standout” status in the 2022 Financial Times North America Innovative Lawyers report; and winning the top prize for “Innovation through Technology – Private Practice” at the Law.com Middle East Legal Awards 2022. As The American Lawyer notes, “This year’s finalists represent the best of the best across all of what the profession holds dear…these awards are meant to honor historic tenets of the profession along with its promise of continued evolution for the better.”

Finalists were selected by a judging team of senior editors and reporters from more than 700 submissions. Winners will be announced at The American Lawyer’s awards ceremony in New York City on November 15.
