Akin Wins 'Legal Services Innovation Award' at Am Law Awards

On November 15, at The American Lawyer Industry Awards 2023, Akin was awarded the Legal Services Innovation Award for its celebrated technology solution OverRuled.

The award recognizes a law firm “that has made significant strides in the last two years to innovate how it delivers legal services…[and] that has changed the way it does business to better deliver value to the client.”

OverRuled is a groundbreaking legal data productivity platform that offers a suite of tools designed to alleviate the burden faced by lawyers and compliance practitioners from complex regulation, particularly in areas of law that are changing on a near-daily basis. Developed by Akin’s international trade lawyers and information technology team, OverRuled’s first modules are dedicated to U.S. sanctions and export controls.
