Emma Simmonds Shortlisted for Mentor of the Year in Women, Influence & Power Awards

(London) – Akin Gump is pleased to share that financial restructuring partner Emma Simmonds has been shortlisted in the “Mentor of the Year” category as part of Law.com International’s Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) UK Awards 2023.

The WIPL awards honor the top female lawyers who “have made a remarkable difference in the legal profession this past year.” The Mentor of the Year category recognizes those who have “mentored another woman in their team or wider business during the past 12 months”.

Ms. Simmonds was previously named “Outstanding winner” in the Collaborative Leadership category of the WIPL Awards 2021 and was named “Insolvency & Restructuring – Lawyer of the Year” at the Euromoney Women in Business Law Awards 2021.

The awards ceremony will take place in London on March 8, 2023.
